My name is Rayburn Blake. I played guitar with Mashmakhan from it's inception through two albums and numerous singles including "As The Years Go By".

With the theatrical release of the film 'Festival Express', a new found interest in the band from Montreal Québec has arisen. While searching the internet for information about the group, it became it evident that someone a little closer to the band ought to take a turn at the telling.

Bear in mind however, this website just reflects my perception of the times and the music that helped to shape those times.

…and so Dear Visitor, I will endevour to tell the stories with a minimum of embellishment for the sake of a good story, and hope you continue to enjoy the music.
